Has anyone used My webcam on their blackberry pearl 8110? When I launch the application, I can log in to the webcam just fine, but then when I try to view my webcam, it first says 'Loading...' the screen turns white, I see the hourglass and nothing happens. Once I got an 'illegal java lang' error (it just flashed by I am not sure of the exact error message).

I have the latest blackberry OS 4.5.0. I have reset the blackberry after installation of My Webcam, took out the battery for a while etc, but it makes no difference. I have tried to view the webcam from another pc and it works fine, so I'm sure the problem is on my blackberry.

What could this be?

Hi Irene,

Are you able to view any of the other cameras on the live list?

Aidan,

I tried something else - viewing the camera using the tinyurl direct link via the blackberry web browser, with java - that doesn't work either. I can open the page, but the area displaying the camera is blank.

I think I have identified the problem Irene.

I am going to contact you by email with a new download.

It may take some time to get the update available on the App World
